After Nick was all situated at Space Camp, we headed south for a few days in Pensacola Beach. Our first stop after checking into our hotel was dinner at Flounder's and it was delicious!!
The next morning we headed outside to play!
Ellie was excited to go in the water with her big bro-- and didn't seem to mind too much when the waves crashed into her!
This was our first time at a Gulf Coast beach and we were all amazed that the water was so clear-- and that the sand was so white!!
We brought our boogie boards and the kids had a blast playing with them.
We could see the Blue Angels practicing over the Pensacola Beach water tower.
Fun in the sand!
Buckets of water-- a key ingredient for making a sand castle.
This girl LOVES the beach!
We met up with an old friend from Colorado for the afternoon-- and all too soon, someone started to get tired.
Searching for shells-- which seemed to stop the tears!
Beach fun :)
Ellie LOVES playing with her sand toys now-- such a change from earlier in the summer!
Ellie took a break and hung out in the shade with a water bottle for a bit.
But the big kids just kept going! I think they could live in the water!!
The beautiful Gulf Coast!
