disney day one

In September, we headed to Walt Disney World with the grandparents for a week of Disney fun!  After MONTHS and MONTHS of intense planning, rearranging, it was finally time to head to Florida.  We actually drove down the night before the trip officially began in order to get an early start!

Our first stop at WDW was Shades of Green to pick up our military tickets-- and meet Stars and Stripes Mickey!  We had the most beautiful, color-coded spreadsheets for our trip (and they would have been beautifully laminated if my Amazon order wasn't delayed....)

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge this time.  The master bedroom and bathroom were amazing (and my sweet parents were gracious enough to share their awesome shower with kids-- even though we had two more!).

Our room-- the girls both roomed with us.  Love the Disney touches that were throughout the villa.

It's a WDW coaster Mickey!!  The living room-- this is where all the boys got to stay.

We went to Sanaa for our first WDW meal.  The bread service was definitely the highlight of the meal. 

Sweet Ellie chowing down on a lemon.  This was the only time that she wore her Magic Band since it didn't stay on very well.  We celebrated Jacob's birthday our first night with an AMAAAAAZING zebra cake!
