We met up with Jacob's whole fam (both parents, all the siblings and kiddos!!) for a fun day at Disneyland.
Of course we had to stop and get pictures (in varying family groups) in front of the Partners statue!
All twelve of the grandkids!
The Albaeck siblings: Melissa, Bethany and Jacob
The whole Albaeck clan and just our family.
Once we got the pictures out of the way, it was time for rides! The little girls played in Tarzan's treehouse while everyone else rode Indy.
Haunted mansion churro break!! And Mickey lollipops from Grandma Robin!!
- Splash Mountain -
- Space Mountain -
- the Mad Tea Party -
The girls (minus Ellie and Everly) got their faces painted!
Nick, the baby whisperer! He got a free hat from "Mickey" after running across the park to the Emporium to get the hat he wanted (they had a couple in stock but wouldn't hold it for him...) and it being sold out. The original CM felt really bad that she sent him all the way over there for a hat that he couldn't get so she let him pick out a different one instead.
Cinderella popcorn buckets are great for snacking and afternoon entertainment!
Riding the horsies with Truck Grandpa!
- Sweet Addy -
She absolutely LOVES the horsies!!
Silly Ben! You're not too big for pictures on the horsies!
Trying to get the sword out of the stone. We went to French Market for dinner - yum!!
High fives from Pluto while we waited for the parade!
We staked out spots on the curb for the Main Street Electrical Parade
- Cinderella -
- Tinkerbell -
Even though she's seen the parade several times, she was still completely mesmerized.
- To Honor America -
Since we were there over 4th of July weekend, we were able to see the 4th of July fireworks display with lots of red, white, and blue!
After the fireworks, we went on Indy again and then Jacob's sisters and their families headed home. We stayed to do the Jungle Cruise (with J'Amy again!) and the Tiki Room (where all the big kids fell asleep!).
We wrapped up our night with some pin trading in the Emporium and ice cream on Main Street! Such a fun day!!
