day thirty-five: happy (early) mother's day

Mother's Day came early at our house!  This afternoon there was a knock on the door and the UPS guy handed me a box and said "Happy Mother's Day"!  I opened it and was excited to find two dozen roses from my wonderful husband.

Christopher and Nicholas both brought home plants that they grew in school.  They wanted me to promise that I wouldn't let the plants die- but anyone that knows me also knows that I can't keep a plant alive to save my life.  We'll see how it goes.
